Foundation Energy Management stopped payment on a $59.78 royalty check for Aug and Sept 2019 production from a well in New Mexico. Have they gone bankrupt? Calls to the phone number on the Royalty statement are greeted by voice mail and messages left are never returned.
What is the next step to recovering money due me?
This just happened to me, too. A $67 check was returned for insufficient funds. Cost me a $12 return check fee, too. I have left a message with the company but I am not hopeful that I will hear back.
I just deposited a much larger check from them today, so now I’m going to cross as many fingers as I can manage to and wait/hope.
My recent check from Foundation Energy deposited a couple days ago cleared OK. I hope both of you get your situations with them resolved.
