A new leasing entity has appeared in Freestone County: Fredonia Land & Minerals. Between April 16 and May 13, they filed 127 lease memos covering about 6,800 acres. Here’s a map of the surveys that include leased acreage:
My guess is that they are leasing for Comstock, but we will see.
