Just inherited mineral rights in Gaines County, TX, Sec. 55, Block AX.
I have been reading for a few days and am now totally confused. Is there any activity in this area, or projected activity? Or can you direct me to where I can find good information.

A very confused Newbie.
Go to the Texas RRC website. (they have lots of info there). Go to the Public Viewer Map (at RRC site). Go to Gaines County Zoom in until sections are marked Sec. 55/AX is center near the top county line There are 4 plugged wells in eastern half of 55. Nothing else. I have no idea about any future activity.
