Virginia, Since the whole world has entered this race for oil maybe we should start selling light bulbs for the rigs.

W. Shweer, how do you know that all the Devon wells in 21N 3W are completed? I am one of them waiting not so patiently. ha
It seems that it takes about 16-24 weeks from well spud to drilling end date to report. It also seems that the WX wells are on the long end of that. The good news is that Devon has completed every well in 21N 03W so it would be very surprising if you don’t get a check in December or January.
I am also one of the WX wells that was spudded on January 27, 2014 I believe.
What I meant was that they eventually complete every one.
W Schweer,
I don’t think all the wells are drilled in 26_27-21N-3W. Because they are still getting things approved at OCC.
They are still fracking north of Hi-way 164. I was surprised to see a big cloud of oil going up in the air. Deborah, you will know what your well is doing by Christmas. But, I’m guessing it will only be a few hundred has I haven’t seen any big sales records in this area.
I think that if I think small anything larger would be a pleasant surprise!
Virginia, at what point do they run a test on the well?
A few hundred sounds ok to me, not in it to expect a million, every little bit helps at retirement.
I think the next OCC court date is June 10th.
Deborah,
After they frac, they flow it a few days then take an average and report that. Sometimes they don’t even report it. I have found on all of ours it shows up about 3 months after they do the flow rate. If your well is like most, the first check will be for 6 months of production but there will be several days the well is down for completing and maintenance of other systems involved, so dont count on a full 180 days of production. Then after that the production steadily decreases. Go buy a designer dress on the first check and use the following ones to have it cleaned.
M. D.
Your statements are great, love the part about the designer dress and cleaning. You are really lucky if you can get the dress on the first check.
Deborah, M D did a good job, except the 6 months is from the date of the first sale, not the producing date. I’m sure that is what he meant.
What are the reasons for protesting spacing? They are requesting 640 and I would like it smaller.
A few days ago, I received notice for pooling from David E. Pepper, who, I believe, represents Devon. I also received an offer, good for 60 days, from a local outfit, (maybe Pentex, but I would have to find the letter to be sure) for $400.00 per acre. Today, I received an offer on the same parcel for $1000.00 per acre, from an outfit in Dallas, for $1000.00 per acre. This same thing happened a few months ago on another, different location; low offers from local landmen, and an offer from out-of-state concerns for more that twice the amount offered by locals. The previous location I mentioned involved offers of no more than $400.00 per acre, and I signed with a smaller concern for $850.00 per acre out of Louisiana. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
Why?
hello
I have rights on 33-20N-8W Can someone give me update on that?
Thanks in advance
Robert, it’s happening all over OK. They are mostly third parties who may be gong to participate with your mineral acres interest they leased from you or they are going to flip the lease for more than they paid. I try to get the highest bonus with the highest royalty interest. I’ll give a little on the bonus amt to get 1/4th royalty and I’m picky about who gets the lease.
I forgot to mention the location; Section 2 in Township 20 North, Range 4 West.
Kunal I found nothing.
