Garfield County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Liz, once you told them that you were being force pooled, the landman probably thought there was no chance of negotiating a deal in time and didn’t want to waste any of their time.

Deborah,

They are trying to get several more 1280 A spacing in this area. They are doing lots of drilling, they just moved the rig off the east side of this area. Sure a good thing you aren’t getting several wells going down at the same time as you wouldn’t live though it. Oil business isn’t a fast thing.

Still waiting, not so patiently, section 27,21n,3w Garfield County, come on Devon, finish it up, one way or another…

Deborah, We will have to wait on all the other wells that have yet to be drilled too. It may seem slow, but the entire industry is working 24/7 and it’s not going to let up any time soon. The US is going to lift its oil export ban. North of Houston and my area is exploding with oil and gas industry growth. I’ve watched Houston grow for over 40 years and have never seen anything like this! OK and TX are going to look like Swiss cheese. https://globalconnections.hsbc.com/us/en/articles/new-houston-expor…

That all sounds great, the well was spudded January 27, and I know it goes in front of the corporation commission June 10 to decide the split on 1240. Keeping my fingers crossed, and I am a small royalty owner

Deborah, You are in a good area, so maybe more wells will be a blessing if you get spaced 1280. I hope it all works in your favor!

I realize Virginia you feel like you’ve some how inherited a 60 year old very green daughter in this newly found mineral rights who just happened to be lucky enough to get a lease and an actual well drilled this very first go round by Devon. Thanks so much for all the info you have given me. I am worried this will be my only chance on this one well. Time will tell I guess, but I would be happy to wait on a second well if this one actually produces anything. ha

They have two wells in Sec.16 on 320 acre spacing.

Really . But that is me. They knew it was low on the cash and the royalty interest . They can’t drill a well there without your interest .

Jo Annne…according to Oklahoma Mineral Registry Sec 4-23N-4W leased for $950/A on 4/14/14…well worth the subscription I would think.

Guessing it was through Plymouth but may be wrong.

Here is what they were ordered to offer in sec 4-23n-4w

There is no way I would lease to the people that offered $ 450 even if they came up.

If you think it would help you can send me a friend request and I will give you my phone # and try to answer your questions.

Just got lease offer for sec.8’ T23N, R4W. $450/A, 18.75%. Does anyone know if this is the going rate for this area? Would sure appreciate any information.

Wow! Thank you!!! This offer is through Purple Land Management, landmen. Is Plymouth an oil company? Do you know what the royalty is?

Ron, Really? Because it is so low?

Thank you Ron. I’m really new at this. I tried looking at the occ records you posted on sec. 16. I could not find where it says what they paid the mineral owner.

It will tell you in the pooling that I sent first that said AP/Orders.

Jo Anne, I am in section 4-23N-4W and 950 is right. Lease with Plymouth or Same Rose the agent for Plymouth. They are an oil company out of Tulsa and they take care of their wells. All their equipment is state of the art, and if there is a problem with the well, they try to fix it right quick. If you want my opinion, try to get 1/5 or even 1/4 but you will have to leave some bonus on the table.
