Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

David, The OCC does post information but you have to find it. Below is a link to the home page. Go to Divisions, Oil and Gas, Databases follow the instructions for the web application to access Case Processing Database. It can get pretty involved so at this point you may or may not want to continue depending on your tolerance for computer generated frustration. If you need help let me know.

Thank you very much Michael. I’ll give it a try!

Deanne, I got your message but for some reason my reply to you won’t send. Not able to connect to the OCC either. I’ll try again in the morning.

No point. I thought it would be interesting to the Okies especially. My parents both lived through this. My Mother probably saw it worse in Custer county than my Dad in Garvin.

Linda, working fine now, just one of those little glitches.

Linda, what oil co. is the land owner in Sec. 33 3N 4W dealing with about price of wheat field?

Hutch, now and then the occ must be up dating the files in the evenings. I cant get on and their site comes up with a different screen. I sure like the discussions and onfo here. Randall

Randall, I am very familiar with that screen and it took me a while to figure out not to even bother on a Friday night! Last night there was no connection at all but working fine today. That website is a real challenge isn’t it?

Richard Wilson, Linda was talking about Newfield in Section 33-3N/4W.

Richard, I’m not sure but since it’s going to be another Mashburn I just figured it would be Newfield since they are the ones that drilled the first Mashburn going down through Section 4 in Stephens Co.

Richard, the land owner said they had already started on that location but haven’t agreed on amount of payment yet. I don’t know how that works???

Hutch…If you are still having trouble tomorrow you might try cleaning your cookies off. I ran Spy Bot Search and Destroy and it found 11 infected files (all of which were cookies) which I cleaned off. I believe I got the infection from emails that had been hacked into. If you don’t have the Spy Bot you can get it free (I’d have to ask P. which website that gives it to you free if you are interested). It’s the best we’ve found virus protector and detector.

Just got home from a Funeral and wanted to go down toward the diggins to look around and see if I can see the start of any of the 11 locations that Newfield are suppose to be starting. P. has gone over to dad’s to work on his computer though so I hope he gets back in time to go with me before dark. If not I may wait until in the morning. I’ll report what I see.

On the way north out of Lindsay to OKC to the Funeral there was a new location built and graveled right beside highway 76 N. It was on the west side of the road. I don’t know how far north of Lindsay but it was probably about 11 miles or so. That would be in McClain County.

Linda and Hutch, Thanks for the information on 33 3N 4W.

Yes thank you very muuch Linda and Hutch, for the information on 33 3N 4W Jason and I appreciate that!!!

Bob i would suggest you might read the forum rules before advertising to lease property unless you use the advertise section of the forum.

You’re welcome, of course. P. didn’t get through in time for us to go down to the “diggins” this evening so maybe in the morning. I’ll let everyone know what we see and hear.

Deanne…Check my last post on the Stephens Co. forum for the latest I know.

Tica, The announcement Continental made a few weeks ago about the area around Grady, Garvin and Stephens Counties they are calling the “Scoop”. Looks like it includes 1N/1W. Here’s the presentation in case you didn’t see it" http://media.corporate-ir.net/media_files/irol/19/197380/CLR_Sunday…

Im sorry Richard, didn’t mean to break any rules. I will read them, thanks
