Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Received an offer today from Bridgepoint Acquisition for $3000 per acre for my interest in 32,33, &34 2N 3W. The letter says Stephens county, but when I leased back in March of this year it was in Garvin Co. Way to send out accurate offers BMAF. Legacy offered $3550 & Pentex offered 3500 back in Oct. Their selling point is to complete the transaction by 12-31 when when all fall off the fiscal cliff and the tax rate goes to 23.8% as opposed to the current 15%. Sorry guys, think I’ll pass for now…

Yep, Vicki, I’m pretty sure that’s in Garvin.

Lynden…I’m trying to figure out how close that pipeline is going to be to our house. I can’t remember what section we live in but I know it’s 4n,4w. What section is your folks homeplace in? If you know then maybe I can figure it out. I’m just lazy and don’t want to go into my files to look it up. lol

Linda, thats how it looks, so confusing! It was going to be the Robertson 1-28H going north out of 33 but the permit says Gregory 1-28H coming south out of 21. I found nothing in the OCC apps on the Gregory but it’s plain as day on the permit.

Linda, the homeplace is in section 28. Garvin Paint Rd is the southern border of the section. It looks like most of Erin Springs is in the NE portion of sec 22 with parts overlapping into 15, 14 and 23. I was up there when that Oneok pipeline was being laid and it went just north of my property but still in section 28. If you were to look at Google Earth you could see the path of the pipeline just by the cleared areas and disturbed earth. The DCP pipeline ROW that I saw in the courthouse records were going down the sections along the county line abutting Grady. Without looking back I think the sections were (4N, 4W) 7, 18, 19, 30 and 31. You could probably look in the Stephens courthouse records and see where the line picks up coming out of 3N, 4W and see how close they go to your wells. Of course they will just lay a little gathering line from your well to the larger diameter pipe.

If you were using that NPMS public map viewer that I linked, there is an option that says view pipeline by and has a drop down box that allows you to enter the township. That is the best way to zoom in. The Oneok Line A-499 is just south of Erin Springs but the line that was laid in the summer of 2010, I don’t think is on the map yet.

I took this off of the Ok Geo Survey site.gasshalesdb.xls

This is my first post to the group…I inherited mineral rights in Garvin County (also Stephens), but I live out of state. Can anyone tell me what the approx. going amount is to lease/min acre in Sec. 22-3N-1W?

So That’s right in the middle of the Scoop. That’s why the good money!

Anyone know anything on Garvin Co. Sec. 20 2n,3w? Some of our folks were forced pooled and I thought they were planning to drill but haven’t seen any evidence of this. The trees hide much of the section so they could have been building location over a ways and I might not could see it from the highway. Any information appreciated! Thanks

Linda, final pooling order 6-13-12 thats it for now.

Pooling Order 21-3n-4w Dicksion1-21H dated 12/3/12. Continental was ordered to offer $1900 for 1/8th, 1800 for 3/16, 800 for 1/5th or 0 cash and 1/4th

Boy, that sounds like good money to me, Ron! Do you know where that’s located (what town is close)?

Just got this Google Alert

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/tenguy-world-international-inc-tgw…

2 miles west of Purdy

Richard…Haven’t been by there since I posted about the two locations. I don’t remember seeing the lake but I do think there were a couple of men and a little water well drilling machine close to that creek. Do they have a rig on either of those locations yet? How is your little well on 33 (Mashburn) coming along? I actually called it the Poteet Lake when I meant to say a pond but Hutch said it looked like a lake to him so Lake It Is!!!

Linda, I drove down there the other day employing a tactical maneuver to avoid as much dust as possible by taking the 18 mile road off Hwy 29 north to the Rig 134 (mashburn 33) location taking advantage of a strong south easterly wind to move all dust created by on coming traffic to the north west away from my side of the road. Then had the same relieve when turning back east toward Hwy 76 on the County Line. The same results can be realized by making the trip off Hwy 76 going west then south on 18 mile road to Hwy 29 with prevailing winds out of the north west. The Mashburn 1H 33 (Cactus Rig 134) is doing its job and the Mashburn 1H 4 location just to the east of1H 33 has a 4 unit tank battery and a propane tank that makes my personal tank look like a runt. As of the end of last week 11/30/12 there were no rigs on either of the 2 locations in Sec. 21-3N/4W. It is my contention, however, that those 2 pads need rigs on them if for no other reason but to hang Christmas lights on. Anyway one reason is as good as another.

The relatives were force pooled in that Sec. and they only had 1/3 of an acre and a half. They received $500. ea. and 3/16. It was about that that time and they haven’t heard anyting since. I suspected they hadn’t been doing anything since, that I could see anyway. Thanks for checking.

Linda Sec. 21-3N/4W is just north of Sec. 28-3N/4W where you observed the 2 drilling sites made ready in the S/W corner of Sec.21- 3N/4W and Hutch making statement that Dicksion would drill north into Sec. 21 and Newfield’s Cactus would drill from the other site south down in to Sec. 28. There is also a POTEET size LAKE complete with plastic liner situated north of and joining the western site of the two sites. It is on the road where you cross the little weak bridge just off Hwy 76 1 mile north of the Garvin/Stephens Co. Line. The LAKE has been there long before the 2 drilling sites were built.

Correction; Linda, in my post about POTEET LAKE, The road to this site is 2 miles north of the Stephens/Garvin County line not 1 mile on Hwy. 76.
