Hello everyone, I just recently joined the conversations, so forgive me if I am not in the loop on things. I too recieved several letters from Bridgepiont, including one today. They started at $3000, then $5000 and today was $5500. I sent them an email asking them to remove my info from their dadtabase.
I, too, received the $5500/acre offer.
Michael they have 50 pages of records on Garvin Co. records if that is any help.
Has anyone on this forum had any dealing with Ranken Energy? Trying to find some info about them. Thanks
Chris I will send you a friend request
Mitchael, my family gets some royalties from Ranken Energy. Beyond getting checks I don’t have a lot of insight to them but am happy to explore the history a bit more if there is something specific you are wanting to dig into.
Do you know if Ranken drilled new wells in a producing field or ewcompleted existing wells?
Should be re completed existing wells.
Let me do some digging to see if I can figure that out.
Hi all, I have interest in the 4 north 4 west sections 19, 33 and 35. Mostly in the Springer Purdy area. Anybody know if Merit Energy or anyone else might be planning on any horizontal wells in these areas? Thanks, Tom
Lots of drilling going on around Purdy but not to the Springer zone if that’s what you are talking about. All that I know of are the horizonal wells to the deeper Woodford shale. Merit Energy has an office here in Lindsay but I don’t know of any deep drilling. Hubby says they are doing some shallow drilling around here but I haven’t seen it down around Purdy. Newfield and Continental are the majors in that area. I see a Nabor’s rig once in a while but I don’t know who they are drilling for. Somebody said it may be Post Rock, I believe.
Tom, the only thing I found was Merit was doing some enhanced recovery on some existing wells but nothing about drilling horiz. wells.
Multiunit Horizontal Well Proposal, Unamed 1H-7x, Sections 7 & 18-2N-3W, Garvin Co., OK.
The well will be drilled from a surface location in the NW/4 of Section 19-2N-3W and will extend Northward through Sections 18 & 7 as follows:
Section 18-2N-3@ - 5,115 feet (50% if the completed interval length)
Section 7-2N-3@ - 5115 feet (50% of the completed interval length)
The terminus (bottom home location) will be in the NW/4 of Section 7 - 2N-3W.
This is usually listed for both hole location in at the bottom of the drilling permit. What I should have said, like they do at the top of the drilling permit is
FEET FROM QUARTER SECTION LINE
FROM SOUTH (OR NORTH) and FROM WEST (or EAST)
I have a permit for a well that says
SOUTH 442 WEST 1212
If the surface hole location in section 19 is close to section 7, there might not be and lateral in section 19, thus no producing mineral rights.
Hope I didn’t confuse everyone.
I place of lateral, just say horizontal portion. Also ‘and’ should be ‘any’.
so what you’re saying is I wouldn’t have an interest if they started in 19 and went to 7? This is sooo confusing to me. Not that that is unheard of… but.
Vicki…They are doing quite a bit of that now, it seems. What they did for our Branch well on Sec. 16 2n,4w in Stephens Co. is they used the pad on 21. Folks on 21 got none of that but now they are going to drill the rest of the Branch wells (at least 5 more) also from 21 but 21 will get a portion of all of them. Also they drilled the Casados from 21 through 28 (and it’s a “rippin good well” )and 21 will get a portion of that and they are planning to drill more Casados wells with 21 getting a portion of it. So, folks in 21 are going to end up smelling like a rose. I don’t know the “method to their madness” but I’m sure they have one. I’m sure as good as your “Williams” well was they will surely drill more of them in the future. Best Wishes
Certified letter today 14th from Newfield Exploration of Tulsa. I heard they are moving headquarters office to OKC.
Section 7, 2N3W Garvin County. Well to drilled from a surfact location in Sec 19, extend north Sec 18, to Sec. 7, Per Newfield Exp. MId-Continent Inc. proposes multi unit horizontal test the Woodford shale. Vertical depth of 12,520 and measured depth of 23,600. Unnamed 1H-7X.
Barbara, are you saying NFX is going to drill from Sec 19, through 18, to 7? I have some minerals in 19 2N 3W.
