I own land in Pecos County, Texas. The GCX pipeline is coming through(eminent domain). What is a fair amount to ask for feet used? ( I’ve heard ask per sq foot instead of per foot or linear rod). I’ve also heard to ask for the amount that the University of Texas is getting because they will be offered a fair amount. Any suggestions from someone who has expertise on the subject? Also, should I ask for a term lease(like 10 yr.) or is that not applicable due to the pipeline will be underground?
