Has anyone leased in 25-18N-2W?

Has anyone leased in 25-18N-2W lately? If so what was your options and what company did you lease with?

I have mineral interest there and my lease is coming due soon and was wondering what they are now offering and paying?

I would be in no hurry . The terms of your lease are very important .

Sec24 18n 2 W I got $400 with 1/16 th over ride. Nichols they were the only one asking. They had offered $350 in April and we kept asking more.

Who did you lease with? My mother lives in Sec 24 18n 2w and her lease is also coming due next month.

Have you heard where they are probably going to drill at in the section 24?

I also have interest in section 25 and got a spacing request from Devon attorneys and also was wondering if anyone has heard where they are interested in drilling?

Nichols energy services is who we leased with.

They had been after us since April. Surprised they have not contacted your mom. We got notice in the middle of July that they are proposing to drill ( physical location) horizontal well (SW/SW corner )in sec 19 18 N 1 W beginning there and with the BHL ( bottom hole) ending on my place in (NE corner )sec 24 18 N 2W. It is proposed to be a Mississippian. Again surprised you mom has not been contacted. They are drilling all over up there. Especially around Mulhall north/ and west. I have family still up there, even though I live a ways off.

A lot of people who leased 3 years ago had a clause in their lease that said ( the lease people) had first option to release at $150 per acre. I had family who had that in their lease and pardon the language they were screwed. They thought that would be a great deal and as we see now it was not. Just thought to mention it because they will just cut you a check a few weeks before lease is up and you are released. So you might want to check your old lease.

. If they drill before your lease is up then again you will not get a renewal, it will be tied up for a long time. We were the odd ones out last time with only a two year lease.

I have interest in Section 25, 17 North, 4West. Does anyone know what is happening in this area?

Susan They have a well in 26 that tested 349 BOD & 1031 MCF of gas. One in 26 tested 567 BOD & 438 MCF. I could find no long term production information . They have a pooling pending for 24 so I don't think it will be long before they drill there.

Ron,

Are you talking about Section 24 18N 2W that they are getting ready to start drilling? Where are they putting the well and what company is going to do the drilling?

We got some spacing papers the other day but no lease information.

Yes , and I don't know were the well is going . They will tell on the permit. Devon is drilling . There are filings to get ready for wells in 27 sections out of 36 in 18n-2w . What kind of lease information are you looking for . Are you not leased ?

Laurah, i'm sorry i told you wrong. the wells in 23 24 & 26 are in 17N-4W, but Devon does has filings to get ready for wells in 27 or the 36 sections in 18N-2W. I will get you some information on lease bonuses given in the pooling orders.

Laurah In the pooling for section 20 on 6/9/13 Devon was ordered to offer $475 for 1/8 ,400 for 3/16 ,or 350 and 1/5 . There are spacings or poolings pending in 22,23,24,25,& 27- 18n-2w

Is anyone out there part of the Stonebreaker or Potter family?

Thanks Ron for the information.

I have not been contacted by any land men for 24 or 25. I think my lease's on both places are almost due to renew or release.

Where can I locate the location of the Stonebraker property. It is near the Potter property which is in Section 25.

Laurah,

Your lease (Section 25) has a 2 year option to renew and your primary term does not end until April of 2014.

Your lease (Section 24) has a 3 year option to renew and your primary term ends in 9/08/2013. You should be receiving a check for 1 1/2 times your original lease bonus (per terms of your lease) pretty quickly. If not, then Section 24 will be open for leasing. I would be surprised if they don't extend the lease.
