I own various ORRIs in Township 155 North Range 92 West, primarily operated by Statoil, but Hess operates a couple of units, too. I haven’t followed Hess much in the area since they’re not active in the Township; any thoughts on how aggressive they are, or not, on developing their properties?
Hess controls a huge block of acreage and has been drilling to HBP for a couple of years but now they have sold a foreign asset for more than $5 billion and SAY they are going to be more committed to the Bakken System. We will see.
Hess is wanting to lease from us in 157N-94W, so I guess they’re still in the mix.
