Hogue MMP / Powell

Someone was asking about theese 2 wells and when division orders would be sent a few months back. I received division orders on both yesterday and today.

Thanks for the update.

Saw they had to do an amendment to the Powell BD well. I’m assuming there was an issue with the low test production.

Any new info on the Williams RM or Leon Co Alloc wells? Nothing new posted in RRC or Fracfocus yet.

Powell permit was amended for this: “Permit amended for SWR37 distance to Powell unit lease line to offsetting leases/units.”

Test result was great: 41,530 MCF.

Thanks Alan. I think I got it confused with another well. Thank you for the clarification.

Has any production been posted for Hogue MMP 1H for January yet?

& for Decembers production I’m seeing “51,042 mcf” is that considered a low amount? Does anyone know how many days of production that was for or when about it started producing in December because I hear different things. I’m new to this and trying to see if I’m figuring things correctly. Thanks

Date of first production for the Hogue well was December 28, so December production was for the first four days.

January production was 1,147,161 MCF. That’s an average of 37,005 MCF/Day.

What is the best website to go for up to date reports? When I go to RRC it doesn’t show January yet.

Would you happen to know the formula to calculate royalties on Januarys production?

Thank you very much!

Comstock’s operator number is 170038. Click on Gas Well, District 5, and the month/year you want.

Thank you so much! Appreciate your help

I disagreed with the DOI they provided on my division order. I asked for clarfication and they lowered the number and sent a spreadsheet with a 6 Step equation and called it the “Net Revenue Calculation” Step 1- Calculate Tract Participation Factor (TFP), Step 2- Calculate Tract Net Royalty Interest (Tract NRI), Step 3- Minus Non-Participating Royalty Interest (NPRI) IF ANY Step 4- Calculate Unit Net Royalty Interest (Unit NRI) Step 5- Allocation Calculation Step 6- Calculate Well Interest I have the equations for each of these steps im TRYING to keep this simple. My issue is if TPF and Allocation wells are mutually exclusive and the Texas Railroad Commision states that royalties are calculated using one factor or the other but not both. Why is TPF being applied in Step one and Allocation in Step 5? I feel like they are trying to add factors to chip away at what they have to pay out in royalties. The director of Division Orders wont break it down he just sends the spreadsheet and expects me to not question if the numbers are right. Is this formula correct? Are they adding extra steps to reduce division order interest? Has anyone else thought the numbers looked off?

Just luck of the draw with these ones, your allocation must just be very bad and subsequently your minerals are not worth much now.

No sir my allocation is the majority of the well. I must not be articulating it right

Good morning,

Have you had any issues with your DO from Comstock? We have some wells in Leon with Comstock coming up soon so just wanted to ask. Thanks for any info.
