We have 120 acres E/2 of Section 48, Block 5…About 7 miles S.W. of Pecos…West of Hi. 17. I noticed there are three permits on the section joining ours to the East and one permit to our South. We have our lease with Clayton Williams. Does anyone know about this area? If a horizontal well is drilled on the section next to ours, do we receive anything?

Another question: If a vertical well is drilled on the section next to ours, do we receive anything? The answer is no in both cases UNLESS your section (or part thereof) is in the drilling unit with the section next door. Later – Buzz
