I have an OK LLC. plan to buy mineral rights in TX and LA. Do I need to have LLCs in each those states? how to handle deed/title? Thank you, Toni
In my opinion & experience, no. I have property in several states that are owned by my OK LLC.
@Mararat, you may have to register your LLC in the new states as a “foreign” LLC and maintain an LLC agent in each state.
The answer would depend upon TX & LA’s statutes. Not a bad idea to check with a licensed attorney in each of those states.

thank you Todd. that says we need to register the LLC as foreign entity in these states?
I didn’t register in those that don’t have State Income taxes. Each state will have a different definition of “transacting business”.
