I HAVE FINALLY HEARD BACK FROM EOG AND THEY WERE TELLING ME THAT MY INTREST WAS BEING CREDITED TO MY PREDECESSOR FROM WHAT THE TITLE ATTORNEY FOUND OF RECORD THAT WE WERE IN FACT THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS ... SO WITH THAT BEING SAID WILL WE BE GETTING THAT PAY BACK FROM THE TIME THEY STARTED PRODUCING IN JULY OF 2013???? SARAH FROM EOG SAID AS SOON AS SHE ADDS THE RECENTLY UPDATED RECORD OWNERS THAT DIVISONS WILL FOLLOW THAT HAS BEEN OVER A WEEK AND A HALF AGO .. HOW MUCH LONGER TILL I GET MY DIVISON ORDER ?? Holly, a week and a half is mere minutes in oil & gas operator time. Maybe another week and then a friendly reminder. I usually call and then confirm with an email.
I request Div. Orders all the time and I expect a 4-6 week turnaround time. In the Fall they tend to be slower in getting back to me. Just for thought on all division orders you need to be aware of the language tendered and if they are attempting to amend or change the terms of the original o/g lease or are seeking you to waive any of your current rights under the o/g lease or are in general provide surplusage language. It is always, Royalty Owner beware of what you are signing away.
