I received notice of bankruptcy from a gas well operator and a Proof of Claim Form 410. I have no idea how to fill out this form in terms of howuch the claim is for. I receive monthly royalties but no guarantee of future earnings so I am lost!
In which state was the bankruptcy filed in and which state are the minerals?
The mineral rights are in Oklahoma. The royalty payments are all up to date, so I’m now thinking I may not need to fill out the Proof of claim form as I’m not owed any money.
If the bankruptcy debtor does not owe you any money, then don’t bother filling out the form. In 99.99% of the situations, the royalty payments will not be interrupted.
