I am looking for a way to find properties in which someone owns the mineral rights to. Is there some way to do a title search by name? I believe there are many in the Fillmore area.

Many counties have a grantor/grantee index online for the County Recorder. The problem typcially is that the online document does not give sufficient detail to know exactly what was transferred. For example, it may simply say "deed" or "grant deed." This would not be sufficient to determine if that particular document transferred surface, minerals, or both.
If you have the time, going to the County Recorder's office and reviewing the documents from one person to another can be done. Otherwise, I suggest you contact a landman that can conduct such a search for you. Landmen are experts at locating mineral owners.
