I’ve been receiving interest on my mineral rights in Howard County, Block 25, Section 7. Is any activity going on near there? It’s been silent since the price of oil dropped a year ago, so wondering why the sudden spark of interest. Thank you!

Hi Jennau123, Yes, it looks like wells have been permitted in the sections adjacent to yours on the west, south and southeast in the last couple of months. These wells are shown on the RRC GIS map https://gis.rrc.texas.gov/gisviewer/ You can use the search (magnifying glass icon) to look for Howard County Abstract A-21.
