sounds farfetched. why would a state governing body permit someone to be able to reduce the pressure in your wellbore? plus, the reduction would be statisically proveable from your well history compared to the new wells interferance, would it not? marcellus interfering with shallow gas…show us?
You don’t really give enough information to form an answer. Where are you located? How deep is your domestic well? How deep is the proposed new well?
TomHorn is correct, the State agency of whichever State you are in will not permit new wells if they will result in uncompensated drainage.
