Travis Peak with held charges of “Field Fuel and Service Fee” and we are not a participant of the well in 12 & 1-9-8 in Grady County. It was deducted from my check and not my siblings. I can not get Peak to reimburse the charges. They always have an excuse. I sent a certified letter to the president Jim Addison asking him to intervene. The amount is almost $800.00. This has been going on since our Sept check. The division order analyst, (second one to be involved) always says they are waiting for attorney. Does anybody have recommendations on what I should do. Should I get an attorney? Has anybody else had problems with Peak? Beginning Feb 1, Paloma is going to be the new owner.
If an operator is being slow or reluctant to tend to your issue, then by all means hire an experienced oil and gas attorney. That will get you results the quickest. Sometimes you can agree to not pay the attorney until the dispute is resolved, or sometimes the attorney can even get the operator to pay his/her fees depending on the circumstances.
Illegal deductions are all too common. Sometimes these are resolved in the mineral owner’s favor with interest without having to go to court. Richard Winblad

Received an email from the accounting department yesterday and was promised they are sending a check as of yesterday for the amount they withheld in error. Keeping fingers crossed. Thanks for giving me advice.
