In Active or Shut in

I was wondering if anyone had any info as to what is going on in the Oliver oil field. My interest

is with file #21626 Hobart 1-27H which on the NDIC map is listed as IA however in the latest production report it is listed as shut in. CLR was no help. I did go back a few months in the production reports and found that about 4 or 5 wells have been IA for a while then return to Active in a month or so but Hobart has been IA for around 4 months now. Today I noticed that the well across the road is IA (Washburn 1-22H). Sections 34,27,22,15 recently were approved for 2560 stand up spacing/drilling unit as was the sections to the west. I was thinking CLR was preparing for a multi well pad but can't get any info from them. They've been selling the gas from wells along that stretch of road so I thought pipe was in place, any insight would be welcome.

I don't know if this will help, but I looked at the well file. The only thing I could see is, it is "Inactive, but it is still shows as a "free" flowing well; i.e. no pump.

The well produced for only 9 days in May, and 0 days in June and July. I don't think it is being prepared for a multi-pad, because there are no other permits near this well.

They could be doing some major work on the well, like re-fracking and getting ready to put a pump on the well.

The well across the road, #22135, is also "Inactive", but they did put a pump on this well, which was completed on March 15, 2013.

My recommendation is to go to the Million Dollar Way (All Bakken All The Time) blog. There is some discussion regarding the Oliver oil field and maybe you can post your question there. The link to the Oliver blog is:

Hope this helps.
