I inherited mineral rights in section 35, T9N R8W. Currently Brent Baker producing a very small royalty, but I think it was originally an Apache lease. What is the best way to find a copy of the original lease. Gleaning information from discussions, I suspect no Pugh Clause.
You can ask Brent Baker for a copy of the lease. Very small operators sometimes don’t keep very good records, so good luck.

Grady has its digital files on www.idocmarket.com They may only go back to the early 1990’s or early 2000’s. Otherwise, you have to go to the courthouse or get someone to go for you. You have to know the name of the person who would have signed the lease.
