My mother and I are mineral rights owners in Weld County, but as far as I know there is nothing producing at this time.
I am curious if anyone can point me in the right direction for work? I have been working in The Middle East, Iraq, and Afghanistan as a Private Military Contractor since 2002 and I would like to come home finally. I lived in a camp in Afghanistan with a fellow who was from Williston ND and he told me all about the industry. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have "insider" information, BUT my son-in law and daughter live in Williston ND and are doing good with his foundation business for the wells. Lots of jobs paying good money up there. There is a lack of housing (overly expensive due to demand), lack of medical, and lack of "fluff" services, but lots of man-camps. It would be THE place to go for work, make money, and get into the business there.
I know there are a LOT of well towers up in Weld County all over the place. As far as who to contact? I would start with the temp agencies first. Someone might have better info for Weld County.
Thanks Scott. Appreciate the info. I was able through our attorney to secure some contacts. As soon as I finish up with my last contracts I plan on making the move back to CO.
