King David Mipa - Permits vs Payments

We own in the King David Mipa unit (Pecos in Reeves County TX). There are 5 wells being paid by Permian Resources: 1H, 131H, 132H, 221H & 223H.

We found RRC permits for additional wells at that same time, 133H & 222H, but no payments? How do we determine what happened to those or if they pertain to us?

Also noticed new permits in May, 2024 under a lease called Abaco State for 131H & 222H, would those also be payable to us (if drilling is successful)?

Thanks for insights…the RRC site is full of info, but seems like you have to be a landman, engineer or spent a lot of time learning how to use it

i see five King David MIPA wells in pay. If there are any new ones, then you would get a division order for them when they are finished.

There are four Abaco state wells, three shallow and one deep. They are about eight miles to the east. Currently have a rig onsite. 1302H, 222H, 131H and 1301H. Those are probably the 133 and 222 you saw.

Here are the KING DAVID wells. Look for the surface location just north of 1st street. One is solo and four are just to the west of it.

Thank you very much! Your description including approximate distance to the Abaco state wells allowed me to see what I was looking at (which wasn’t the correct thing). Would you know if there are any plans to go deeper in King David MIPA?

Have no idea. Operators keep that sort of info close to the vest.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info you did give us.
