Hi, everyone, I am looking for the land farming costs in oil and gas industry and couldn’t find anybody dealing with that. Does anybody know the cost of trucking and disposal per dry ton of waste? If anybody know the prices or the providers in TX, I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Archy
Archy: By land farming, do you mean the disposing of drilling mud/fluids on a farmer’s surface? Also known in Oklahoma as soil farming.
Doesn’t have to be limited to a farm, but the general idea is right.
Here is the definition from the Railroad Commission of Texas:
- Landfarming facilities can treat and dispose of only freshwater-based drilling fluids and associated cuttings.
