Hi Everyone, Can I start by saying researching Mineral rights and how it all works is VERY addicting!!! I have learned a lot by everyone sharing their knowledge!! So I got an attorney and we are completing our "Affidavit of Heirship" so that we can have my deceased parents mineral rights in our names. Does anyone know of a good "Land Man' in Garvin county you could recommend? I believe this is the next step I need to take. I went to the courthouse and got the documents showing which Mineral rights my mom owned in PV. I think it is more than what she thought it was. I just really want to make sure she truly owns them. (She had a habit of selling anything of value) LOL....
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Best LandMan I've used is a Women. And her name is Darla Ragland. She is actually on this discussion group and has her baby picture for her profile picture. She lives in Pauls Valley I believe but I had her do my research in Stephens Co. and was well pleased with her work.
Oh my....I think I went to school with Darla :-) Thanks so much!!
Hi Susan, Say hello to Darla
Hi Mr. Moore....I looked on Facebook. I don't think its the same Carla Ragland :-)

Sounds like you may have your Carla's mixed up with your Darla's. lol I believe Ragland may be her married name. Anyway, she knows her business and could probably help you.
Maybe not. I have been having fun with minerals since the 70's. My son starts OU Law the 19th. I married Vallory Mosteller in 1986.
