Hello, I just received a phone call from someone claiming to be a landman and is interested in purchasing our 26 acres in sec 26-18N-14w. They said they had just purchased some acres next to us and wanted to also buy ours. Does anyone know of anything going on there and who is operating in that section/area. Any idea of value or what a fair offer would be? Thanks in advance for any help. John
Derby Exploration just received permission for horizontal drilling and spacing in that section. Permission to drill a horizontal well is pending. Offers to buy often come out right before the drilling begins. Section 25 just got permission for increased density, so the likelihood of more than one well is high.

If it is out of OKC, it has been in business about five years. I am not familiar with it.
