Hi, I am interested in hiring a landman to clear up some questions I have about some property that I own in Love County OK. I inherited the property, there is an active well drawing from it, and my great grandparents owned it. I would like to know exactly where my plots of land are and who else owns the mineral acres. I own 145 acres, but only own 44 mineral acres. I want to know how that cookie crumbled. I have tried OK County Records, but hit a wall. Any recommendations? Thank you.
You can observe qualified professionals (often with localized expertise) who provide services to mineral owners right here on The Mineral Rights Forum. You will notice them in 3 different places on the site:
-
in display image ads and text links on site
-
in our Mineral Service Provider Directory in the main navigation bar above. These are arranged by professional discipline.
-
as a Business Member within many conversations throughout the site Look for the blue colored “B” on their picture and blue colored text).
These practitioners are often able to provide specific (and often localized) services that meet your needs.

I used Trent Stout to research title in Caddo County. He was thorough. It’s been a few years, so don’t know if he is still available for that kind of research. Pat
Unfortunately, online Ok Records do not go back far enough to get back to original title that you need to do your title run back to.
