Morning all,
I am an Aussie downunder and would appreciate any help you guys are able to provide me. I have posted this on the Jim Wells forum also but it seems to be a pretty quiet place of late. I apologise if I am in the wrong place here, if so maybe someone can direct me to the correct forum, thankyou.
It is in regards to this well ( link below ) in Jim Wells County.
I know who the operators are, “Kindee oil and Gas” but I am trying to find out who actually owns the lease and/or well or, who are the parties that have a W/I in the well.
Your W-1's didn't come out right. If you know the 'name of the well' or the API#(American Petroleum Industry#) or the 'Abstract #' please forward that in a reply post and someone will try to help you.
I just checked welldatabase and the well didn't show up so I went to the Texas GIS Mapping System and it states that the location of the well was cancelled/the well was never drilled. Sorry about that Mate.
the well is drilled and was completed in March, here are the latest production reports for it. That's strange that your search came up with a blank ?
cheers

Sorry to tell you wrong. I will check with welldatabase about this well. It definitely 'is' producing. I will find out why they don't show it. I will be sending this complete discussion to them.
Friends request sent.........
Good day,

The record for the well is in WellDatabase, but is missing the location information and didn't show up on the map view. This can happen as there are delays for the locations to be reported to the Texas RRC. It should be updated in WellDatabase shortly. (link requires a WellDatabase login)
There appears that there was a problem with the permit, but it was corrected, so perhaps the GIS system is just not syncing well. Here's the permit information from the RRC:
It looks like you have a login to the RRC reporting site where you have the IP information you've attached. So this is all of the data available from the RRC. The information you are looking for (lease owners and whatnot) should be filed with the Jim Wells county courthouse. (http://www.co.jim-wells.tx.us/). A quick call to them might be able to answer your questions as they don't have a system for looking at that information online. Sorry I was not able to answer your questions directly, but hopefully the RRC data makes more sense now.
thanks mate. It certainly is a spiders web trying to find information on well hidden trails.
I will ring the J W C Courts tomorrow morning your time. I assume business hours in your part of the world start at 9-00am ?
Thanks once again mate,
Kind regards
Paul
