Lease Coming to an End

Hello all,

My current lease with Apache will be coming to an end in September 2019. How soon is too soon to start looking for renegotiation/new leases?

Has Apache already drilled? I know they were coming up within a few months of our lease end when they drilled. At that point, there is no more lease talk. We actually would not have minded them not drilling and renewing the lease at 80% of the initial lease.
