I received a lease offer in May and it was filed at the courthouse in June. The lease is for 3/16ths of the gross off of 72.50 acres. As time has passed I have received several letters from multiple companies wanting to buy my mineral rights. I have not actually had any updates on what is going on with the land but was under the assumption they would start drilling. I am just wanting to post to see if I can get some feed back on the area as I am in NW Arkansas. The land belonged to my grandmother’s family and was willed down to me.
You are about to have quite a bit of activity. You should have gotten notices of all the pending cases. OAP
Here is a list. Put the case number into the OCC OAP website (blue above) and pull them up. Make sure that they have the correct address for you. You should have gotten packets in the mail in September.

I did figure out what was wrong, on one of the notices that I pulled up, they have my grandmother listed and as deceased, then mention, “Unknown Heirs” I suppose that would be me even though I have been found and have signed a lease for three years through a broker.
Make sure that you also have your name and address and the legal descriptions filed in each county clerk’s office where you have minerals.
If the Will was probated, then the copy of the order distributing the property should be filed in each county where the minerals are located. If not listed, you may need to take some additional action.
