I just found out I own a share of mineral rights to land in the Brewster School Land area in Cochran County. A landman sent me a lease offer so I'm trying to do my due diligence in finding out what I can about all this. Any help or direction would be appreciated! Thanks in advance...

I’m not really sure. It says the C.A. Pierce subdivision, tracts 34, 43, and 60, Brewster County School Land, Cochran County.
What are the terms you were offered? A family friend has land in Brewster and is curious about recent activity.

So sorry for the late response! We were originally offered $175/mineral acre and 20% royalty. We settled for $350/mineral acre and 22.5% royalty.
