What is the lease rate range in Young County TX. I was just offered a lease on my mineral rights. An oil well was capped in the last couple of years on that same property. Is it realistic that there is still some gas and oil left on that same site?
Kathy, I have no idea what formation the capped well produced from but in Young County here are several possible productive formations for oil/gas. Young County Regular Field/formation, Strawn, Caddo, Conglomerate, Chester and Mississippian formations. So yes, there possibly is still production in that area.
