We had an offer from land man ( who said he) worked for Cheaspeake !! between the offer and the time he said he would call back -- a few days later -- he said that Chesapeake was not leasing at this time!!! It was all VERBAL !! I am sure we tossed the paper we wrote down the offer on. I wonder if this so called landman really did work for that company! Thanks, for the reply Mathew

Well, they wanted to lease you at one time. Chances are good someone will want to lease again.

Sit tight, or take your offer to several companies and see if they wnat to lease in the hopes Chesapeake decides to drill.
