I have always seen fractions of sections described as e.g. E1/2. Is E/2 also a proper legal description in CO?

Not sure about Colorado specifically, but here in TX "E/2", "E 1/2", "East Half", "East One-Half", etc. are synonymous. I would imagine it would be the same up in CO, but I'm not certain.
