Hello,
I am new to the boards, but I have been approached by a company called Lincoln Energy LLC and a Land Man by the name of Tim Jewett about leasing/purchasing mineral rights in Weld County.
I am interested in any information anyone might have about this company and this Land Man.
The principal in Lincoln Energy is supposed to be Ben Schuessler.
Thanks!
Ron,
Check with CO Oil and Gas Commission for registration as an operator. Lincoln Energy Power Group is in NV, KS, and UT and Lincoln Energy is also the name of an ethanol generation (coven) company. I think Noble and Anadarko are the best operators depending on your location.
Thanks for the reply Gary.
I did check with COGCC and they are familiar with these individuals. I believe their intentions are genuine, however they are going to be looking for someone like Anadarko to sink the wells. I have researched the surrounding production and come up with a median production estimate (crude) of around 2500 bbls annually for producing wells. They are most interested in buying the mineral rights outright and I am inclinded to negotiate with them on that basis. I am not much of a gambler and if they were able to intall a producing well my royalties would take 5 to 6 years to equal the offer to purchase.
Any insight into mineral acre value in section 8 would be valuable.
Ron

Hi,
If you are interested in selling your minerals, we would like to make you an offer as well as Lincoln Energy. Might as well capitilize on your investment! Thanks M. Smith, The Quiat Companies 720-723-2770
Ron , I would like to discuss. Dean 3146004343
I have talked to a landsman from them and they are offering only $200/acre. They are buying up a lot of leases in large tracts from what I can find. They are not willing to tell me who they are leasing for and that makes me skeptical. He said they don’t want competitors coming along trying to out bid them. Sounds shady to me if they won’t offer a company name. Nobel land man was not hesitant in telling me who he was leasing for.
Where are your mineral rights located in weld county? How many acres? Dean 314-600-4343
Lincoln is ok and in final negotiations on a new lease.
I know Lincoln well. They are legit and can offer favorable terms. Additionally, I've been in and out of Morgan and Weld Counties since 1/3/2009. I know the prices... lease or sell... Message me.
Any other thoughts on prices with Lincoln Energy?
