Hello! I have been listed on mineral rights in Louisiana and have no idea how. I have tried to figure it out but have reached a dead-end at every turn. Does anyone have any idea how I can figure out how my name got included on mineral rights? Thank you!
You are the heir of someone that owned rights or there is an identity mistake. Contact the party that notified you for information.
Thanks Todd! I’ve tried that, they have no clue. I’m almost 100% it’s an identity mistake but just want to be sure - it’s just a bit too coincidental. Called the court house in the Parrish, even have been trying to find someone to do some research for me - can’t find a lawyer!
