Location outside spacing unit?

Hello, I copied this from the daily permit report. I was wondering what the terminology “location outside spacing unit” means. My latest check shows some income from this well (first time) but I never recieved a division order or anything like that for it yet.

In many cases, the surface location of a horizontal well is intentionally outside the edge of the spacing unit. It is to allow the vertical part of the hole and the majority of the turn radius for the horizontal portion to stay outside the spacing unit. That allows maximum perforations to be inside the spacing unit and hopefully have more production. It takes several hundred feet to make the turn and they don’t want to waste that distance “inside” the spacing unit.
