Logan County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

One thing should be pretty clear, however, about the worth of our Minerals, we have few, if any, friends amongst the Producers and/or any level of government. It is like we, the Lamb, sitting down with the Lion (Producers) and the Tiger (government,) to discuss what to have for Dinner. As for me, they do not collectively have enough money to get my Minerals. Not at any price, they would have to pass a law enabling them to steal it. Could happen, too.

db My own understanding is that new pipeline was laid to Ruffed Grouse before production began, and this is why gas was never flared? Let’s think a little, new pipeline, new higher cap pumps, no flaring done, 3 more wells planned, well shut in because of … problems??? I still think it is because of low market price and not any problems with the well. 20 bod is not all that unusual if there are other issues, ie water, at the first. All other indications point to much better production coming.

HAS ANYONE RECEIVED A CHECK FROM BRANSON 26-17N-4W? IT HAS BEEN OVER 6 MONTHS SINCE PRODUCTION STARTED.

Debra Acord, What is the legal description of the 105 acres you purchased in March 2013?

TransCanada plans to start deliveries Jan. 3 to Port Arthur, Texas, via the segment of the Keystone expansion project from Cushing, Oklahoma, according to a government filing yesterday December 2, 2103.

Debra Acord, What did Sid buy and when did he buy and do you know the name of the old well and where it is located?

sid bought 105 acres in March of 2013 - we have sold 10 of that 105 in May of 2013 - and have no information on the well -

Martha, TransCanada plans are just a little behind schedule, they wanted it operational by first of Dec and that did not happen. We want to be careful, however, about what we read out of the announcement that they would begin operation of the SOUTHERN portion of the Keystone pipeline, which Obama approved and issued a Presidential Proclomation to get it constructed over a year ago. No one should think that the KEYSTONE PIPELINE FROM CANADA has been completed. It has not and in all probability, it will not. Never. They will have to ship their dirty crude to Canadian seaports in order to sell it. Or I am a munkey’s Uncle.

Anyone heard of any developments from multi well from sec23-19n-2w more specifically the well that the bottom hole is under sec-25-19n-2w.

Debra, Did you ever receive royalty payments from any well(s) in Sec. 36-15N-02W? Looks like the Checkerboard:Cottage Grove, Wilcox:Viola formations once produced in Sec 36. There are quite a few dry holes which have been plugged. There was a directional survey for the Checkerboard, bottom hole C-SW-SW-SE API # 3508322494 which showed 45 barrels of oil per day and 500 mcf gas per day.

Debra, I will have to leave 36-15N-2W to the big Oil Companies, but thanks anyway.

we have 65 ac in NW/4 & 30 ac in SW/4

17-4-23 567 BBL per day.
