Here is a great presentation on the past and future of the Anadarko Basin. Prepare to be confused…

Thanks Tim for posting the article. The maps are pretty good. The percentages and number of wells for the different plays (especially the Woodford and the Miss Lime) has changed drastically since the article came out in 2012. So keep that in mind if you are reading it.
This isn’t Cathy but-----has anyone–anyone out there who has mineral rights in 20-17-3, Ruffed Grouse, received any royalty payments? Oil has been sold since June last year, according to what I read in the forum, and they are still asking us for proof of title for Cathy’s mineral rights. Hopefully all the docs. we have filled out and sent them will satisfy them. They don’t seem to be wearing the white hat that they were supposed to be wearing.
EIA 2014 Summer Fuels Outlook:
-Brent crude oil prices expected to average $105 per barrel this summer compared with $107 per barrel last summer.
-Natural Gas. Henry Hub spot price expected to average $4.58 per thousand cubic feet in 2014, $0.74 per thousand cubic feet above the 2013 average.

I don’t know the validity of this rumor, but I understand they have shut down fracking yesterday in Logan County because of the earthquakes. Which would explain seeing tank trucks 3 deep at the fire hydrant located at SH 33 and College Street (by Beck Implement) at 11PM Thursday night.
Jerry, Yep, fracking will make you shake rattle and roll in Perry, Guthrie, and Langston.
“A total of 48 Oklahoma earthquakes have been reported in the last seven days by USGS, including two 4.2 magnitudes on Sunday and Monday, both near Langston.”

db----what say you? Do you have any idea what’s going on? I hear plenty about Devon but nothing about Slawson/Osage.
slawson seems to be slow on paying
they are still flaring alot of gas ,even though the pipeline is tied in to meter, must be a capicity proplem,on the transmission lines
So, maybe the environmentalists have reason to cheer because of the earthquakes? Why just Logan County, I wonder? I thought the frackin fracking was pretty well finished for a spell in Logan County? Oh well, our wells runneth dry. LOL
db----this isn’t Cathy but—Monday morn and snow in the Osage hills. So the well is hooked up to the pipeline and still flaring gas, sounds like an engineering problem to me. Do you suppose that same engineer is in charge of the financial dept. too? Haven’t heard of anybody receiving ang mineral payments from the Grouse since last Thur. so take that as a negative answer. I could go into the conversations I have had with people Slawson and their people but it would be useless and probably not believable of some of the answers I got. If they tell you the “check is in the mail”, don’t believe them.
Ok thank you Mr. Barnes.
We had a blow-out of oil in 17n3w9 yesterday (04-14-2014)there is oil all over the pasture and roadway. My question is who to report this to. The smell last night was terrible.
I thought there was no more blow-outs expected in Oklahoma atall? I thought they were discontinued after Wild Mary blew her stack in 1938? I thought they were not allowed. I thought geologists said … etc etc etc
Slawson Engineering describes as a minor tank overflow.
I have a well that was completed from sec 23-19N-2W in sec 25-19N-2W. I have a completion report from Jan. 10 2014 went to the gross production system web site put in legal description says no results found, maybe it’s to soon to get info here? Is there some other way to see what the well is doing since Jan.10? What is the PUN # and Merg #? Thank u.
The PUN is at the very top left of the completion report. It is called OTC Prod, Unit No. It is right underneath the API number. You may need to add more zeros on the end. You only need the PUM. Make sure to check the box. I always forget and then I get nothing.
It is likely that the website will be several months behind. The operator doesn’t have to pay you for six months, so paperwork can get behind.
Sometimes you get lucky at 4 months and find it posted, but not often.
Todd,
On this web site you can find the monthly report filed by the Purchaser of the oil. In your case, Vitrol Inc., Purchaser Code 22580
http://imaging.occeweb.com/imaging/OGProd.aspx
Search for Form 300R. Enter the Purchaser code. Select the 1/2014 report. Then scroll down to the PUN number. Letchworth 25 is 08321242800000. Letchworth 23 is 08321242700000.
You should find 2495 barrels for one and 5240 barrels for the other/
It seems to take a couple of months for the reports to get entered into the Gross Production System. So this Imaging System Index as ahead.
Would be nice if Devon had put the purchaser info on the Completion Report. As it was, I found it by trial and error.
If you have a problem. Friend me and we can exchange phone numbers.
