Low Callon payment 2 weeks early

Did anyone else receive a September 30 payment from Callon today for a very small amount? Does this have something to do with the Apache buyout?

For which month’s production was your check? August production?

It was all July. There were entries for oil, gas and plant products. It was just for a small amount about 2 weeks early.

I have been receiving just the usual checks from Callon around the first week of the month. I wonder if this month’s check will be issued by Callon or Apache.

Callon owner relations says the 9/18/24 check is only for gas and my invoice shows deductions greater than 1/2 of production. Owner relations also said we should receive an oil check on 9/30 from Apache.

May not be relative to this conversation but I have not received a check since June. I’m thinking the income is less than the expense. All of this with no explanation from Apache although they may not be required to offer one. I have tried on the RRC site but can’t seem to have correct info. If anyone can and will help , I would be very appreciative. Blk 13 sec 68. Penetration is in sec 69. Well is Denton 68-107 # 1 H API 42-389-37440 Permit 843104. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Thanks again for the forum. Cj

Our agreement with Apache indicated they would not make payments less than $500. In our case that has not happened yet, but expect it to this month with NG remaining -0 for the most part.

Charles, below is what was reported to RRC and the Comptroller’s office on your well before and after Apache took over. Wouldn’t be surprised if the delay related to change over in accounting.

Our agreement with Callon was 100$. I’m thoroughly confused with 0 per gas! Oil Price .com just in the last few minutes quoted $3.21.Was Apache’s customer not accepting the product. Will be interested in what one of our experts (and we have several) has to say. And with that I salute those people and the forum. Cj

All of the gas from the Alpine High area go through Waha, I believe. And there are some constraints forcing prices lower. From last week’s EIA report: The price at the Waha Hub in West Texas, which is located near Permian Basin production activities, increased $1.63 from -$2.46/MMBtu last Wednesday to -$0.83/MMBtu yesterday. In our case we signed addenum which allow Apache to shutdown our wells when pricing at waha is negative for NG. Pricing is rechecked every two weeks from what I can recall.

Thanks Dusty for the information.it cleared up a lot and left a lot to be read…I think the end result will be to wait for the check to appear. Thanks again. Cj

I got another check at the end of September from Apache for twice what I received on the last check from Callon. Back to the normal amount at the end of October.
