Hello, Majorly Wonderful Major County Board!
I just received a lease offer from Turner Oil & Gas, an agent for Newfield. Offer is for $800/acre, 3/16, 3 yr. (they wanted a +2-yr. option, but I asked them to remove that). They agreed to the usual Exhibit A clauses I request (depth, Pugh, no deductions, shut-in, and several more)
The $800 bonus seems pretty good, just checking if anyone has received higher for that same area.
I found some info about Turner here; comments seemed mostly okay. Seems like there's good and bad to be found about any brokerage company or oil producer when you search a name here.
