I have inherited mineral acres in Miller County, Arkansas and have been contacted by a landman concerning Township 19S, Range 28W, section 34. Looking at the AOGC well map, I can only find an abandoned well from the 1960s…if I am reading it correctly.
Any activity in the area I should be aware of? Thanks for any help.

He may be interested in a lithium lease in the Smackover. Search the forum for “lithium” and don’t sign anything without an attorney looking over the lease. The ones I have seen so far were not well written. Also, the Arkansas legislature is working on the royalty rate. The last bill did not pass, so I would not lease until the rules are established.
