My sister received a call from a representative of OGI Minerals wishing to purchase our rights on about 4 net mineral acres in 9N 8W section 36 for $3000/NMA. It has a capped well, Daman 1, that was originally done by Apache in the 1970’s. Does anyone know about OGI, whether the price is reasonable, and whether Apache would have any claim to the capped well. It has been capped for many years.
The offer amount will be tied to a royalty such as 3/16ths. There was horizontal drilling in the section to the north. Several leases in section 36. If she does not need to sell, might as well hold on and see what develops for 36.
