I am trying to help my mom out with getting answers to a couple questions. She recently received an offer to purchase the mineral rights she holds with a few family members. Her share is 0.733 net mineral acres. They are offering $21,000 an acre equaling $15,393.
The plat is in: Township 5 North Range 65 West, 6th p.m. Section 3 SESE
I am trying to better understand if this is a reasonable offer for the rights to a piece of property in that area. I simply don’t want her to get taken advantage of. Any help the folks in this forum can provide would be greatly appreciated.
