I own 26.666 in hughes county. Section 23 township 7 range 8 east. I received an offer from Mayhawk this week. No interest in leasing, but made an offer for 10,000.00 for my 26.666 acres. I told them not interested at this time. Does anyone know of any activity in this area at this time? Also was this a decent offer? Thank you for any information.

Offers usually are interested in your current production or they know that new drilling is coming. No current new permits in your section and no new OCC cases. But they may have intel that is not public yet. Have no idea if that is a decent offer or not.
In general, there is an uptick in permits and OCC cases in Hughes. Keep your ears open.
