Mineral Rights Owner Questions

My family owns mineral rights in Weld County, CO and I am interested to getting any feedback from members that may help our understanding of activity in the area. Our rights are in the following areas : T6N-R61W , Sections 28:NE,W2, 29:E2SE,SENE,33:N2NW and 29:E2SW,W2SE. We don’t live in CO and would very much appreciate information on activity in the area, name of oil and gas companies who are drilling if any and any other feedback that would be helpful in our learnings associated with these mineral rights and their potential lease values.

Dave: Bill Barrett Corp has horizontal locations in 28 and 29, a horz producer in 33.

You can go onto the Colorado Oil and Gas Commission website and get monthly updates.

As a mineral owner, this is very good area to be in. You are spaced into the well in 33 and should be receiving royalties - if you leased.

I work for a an operator here in Denver. We currently or operating about 40 wells in Weld County. We would be very interested in making an offer to lease these minerals if you have not leased them yet. It appears you may have a fractional interest as I see leases from 2011 covering the same descriptions which you have. If you are interested, you will need to friend me on this site and then we can message each other.
