I recently received an offer from Platform Energy to purchase my mineral royal interest in Duchesne County. Has anyone had dealings with this company? Is there any way for me to tell if this is a legitimate and fair offer?

Welcome to the forum. Any time I get an offer to buy my minerals I try to find out what the buyer knows that I do not know. Usually first offers are lowball to see anyone will bite.
I do not work Utah, but would suggest that you check the Utah Oil and Gas Commission site and see what kind of drillings or permits are nearby to see if drilling is coming.

Last—from personal experience- Don’t be too quick to sell- no matter how nice the guy on the phone is!!!
