Trying to locate other Bakken North Dakota mineral owners that were affected by the Lake Sakakawea land (mineral right) grab made by the State of North Dakota. I have information I would like to share with anyone in the same boat. We need to band together to fight this travesty!

I didn't hear about this, I live out of state. I have mineral acres in both mountrail and ward county

Gus and MFBM,

This is the "OHWM" or high water mark survey done by the state and they claimed all minerals under lake Sakakawea as "sovereign" minerals under "navigable" waters. There was a class action suit against the State and the last appeal was in 2010. My family was hit pretty hard losing about 600+ mineral acres to the state.

Looking for other people in the same situation.
