How can we find more info on the McGee site?

There is actually a scripture from Deuteronomy which instructs believers in why God gives wealth.

Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 And beware lest you say in your [mind and] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.

18 But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

(Bold Italics mine)

Jennifer, It is Sec 28, Blk 27, T&P.

Gary, Here is a kmz file, it should open google earth. The location is west about a mile and some change, and not quite a half mile north of where you have it marked. Sorry, we didn’t know how to do the link as you did below.

Thanks for the scripture. We will look it up tonight and see the context of it, as it relates to the covenant.

Jennifer, I will be a happy girl and do the work myself if it has an air conditioner. Really now, don’t you LOVE how dirt smells??

How about someone that will do all the work?

Really appreciate it Gary. You know, something really neat happened when the rig moved out there and they were getting things set up. Bill and I were driving and looking, we came upon a young man on his motorcycle (he lives here, we know him, but hadn’t seen him in years). He related to us that he was convicted to come pray for everyone out there working, every man, every truck driver, every welder, every roustabout gang, for all of their wellbeing. Our family had been doing that too, that God would watch over them as they were away from home, just that it would be an enjoyable and good time for them (you know as much as work can be), and things would run smooth for them, and most of all they would remain safe.

The young man on the motorcycle was bold enough to say that he was praying for a landmark well, a LANDMARK well, one that will glorify God. In my little faith, I was just praying for a decent well, one that will make enough so that the activity will continue in the county. I am not sure how you pray about those things. Maybe that if it is good, to be a good steward of something we sure don’t deserve. Again, thank you.

Toni, your awesome; all I knew was that I could see it from my house. I can relate to your excitement!!! Hopefully good news for all to continue!!!

Toni, would this be the location of the McGee Lease location?

Sorry, I can’t get it to open either Gary…

Toni, I wish you could send a pictures so I could see it too.

Gary, you have the marker on my place. Wish they would drill there as well! I think the McGee place is Sec. 28 and we are Sec. 26. The place just across S.H. 1229 must be Sec. 27, so just West of that section should be McGee. Does that look right to you, Toni?

Don I think that is correct. You can kinda see where a pipeline ROW is from where road 1229 makes the curve, the pipeline runs back to the SW. The location area lies right above the pipeline, just east of that large mesa and what looks like a deep culvert. To the NW of the area is a black circle-like formation. I wish I knew how to send you a picture Gary so you could see. Might could take a picture of our google map image with my phone and e mail it to you.

Sue, Gary has been posting each horizontal well site with a yellow pushpin superimposed on a google map, so he will post this one, the location was just off a little bit. My kids are coming in this weekend, so I will ask one of them to send him our map so he can update the posting, or maybe they can figure out how to get it on here. It has been helpful to see those.

Let’s try again. I think I erred in pasting Lat. & Long. in Google Earth. So here are the Google Earth coordinates and the RRC map. Let me know if this looks better.

Good Luck Toni and Bill. Hope #'s are looking good. Momma may need some new shoes…

Toni,

This Chinese barbed wire you get now days probably won’t last as long as that 1886 barbed wire. So you might want to put that old barb wire in storage just in case…
